Thanks, Clifton! It happens to the best of teachers but that you're aware of it means you've won half the battle. Just try to think about a couple of small ways you can up your expectations for your students and also reasonably follow through on those. It's easier than you think. Maybe it's having a weekly quiz. Maybe it's simply making sure that all your students are on task when you ask them to do something. I'm not sure what you teach, or what level, but I'd be more than happy to provide you with some ideas. Thank you for reading!
